EU Applicants Make Progress in Reducing Digital Divide, More Work Left to be Done

Ljubljana, 3 June - A report unveiled by the European Commission on Monday suggests that the EU applicant countries are making progress in bridging the digital divide and have shown a firm commitment to establishing the information society. The report was presented at a two-day European ministerial conference on the information society, which is taking place in Ljubljana on Monday and Tuesday.
