Slovene and Portuguese Presidents Discuss Future of EU

Lisbon, 3 June - Talks of Slovene President Milan Kucan and Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio during Kucan's two-day working visit to Portugal on Monday revolved around the future of EU and its enlargement. Sampaio stressed that Portugal, despite recent change of government, has not changed its position on further EU enlargement and still supports Slovenia on its way to the EU.
