Information Society is Core to Our Joint Future, Liikanen Tells Conference

Ljubljana, 4 June - As accession negotiations move into their last stage and Europe prepares for the next phase in its history, the information society is the "core to our joint future," European Commissioner for Enterprise and Information Technology Erkki Liikanen told participants of a two-day European ministerial conference on the information society in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
