Slovene Cinema Presents Itself to Spanish Audiences

Madrid, 4 June - A retrospective of the Slovene cinema is being screened at Madrid's arts centre Circulo de bellas artes between 3 and 9 June as part of the days of Slovene culture, wine and cuisine in Spain. The retrospective was launched on Monday by winner of the Lion of the Future award at the Venice film festival Bread and Milk. Director Jan Cvitkovic attended the screening in Madrid. Some Slovene films will later be shown in Barcelona as well, said the Slovene Film Fund on Tuesday.
