Slovenia Cannot Afford to Take on Any More Debt, Finance Minister Tells Weekly Mag

Ljubljana, 5 June - The wage growth in the public sector and the financing of the pension system are two of the most burning issues in public finance, Slovene Finance Minister Anton Rop admitted in an interview for the weekly Mag, noting that in case the economy deteriorates any further, the government will have to do some additional saving, as the country cannot afford to take on any more debts at this point.
