Collection of Signatures Against Krsko N-Plant Kicks Off in Croatia

Zagreb, 5 June - A group of Croatian environmentalist associations and citizens on Wednesday started collecting signatures in a petition attempting to prevent the ratification of a Slovene-Croatian agreement on the jointly-constructed Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK) in the Croatian parliament, Radio Slovenia reported. While no signs of a stall collecting signatures has been seen in Zagreb, Radio Slovenia said that the campaign did kick off elsewhere in the country.
