Regional Development still a Priority for the Slovene Gov't

Ljubljana, 6 June - To stop the increasingly gaping differences between Slovene regions, the government intended almost SIT 80bn (EUR 354.3m) for development projects, most of which went to Slovenia's least advanced areas, especially the NE regions, said State Undersecretary at the Economics Ministry Ivo Piry after the government discussed the report on the implementation of regional policy in 2001 at Thursday's session.
