WWII Deportees Commemorate the Deportation of 63,000 Slovenes

Ljubljana, 7 June - A series of events is taking place on Friday to commemorate the deportation of 63,000 Slovenes during WWII. It was on 7 June 1941 that the first group of Slovenes were deported by Nazis from the occupied country, said the Association of Slovene Deportees, which will mark the event in the cities of Ljubljana and Maribor.
