Response to Inflation is Slovenia's Chief Macroeconomic Challenge, Says IMF

Ljubljana, 7 June - The main challenge of Slovenia's macroeconomic policy is to respond to the current economic situation, mainly the high inflation rate. In the first months of this year the inflation has been again higher than the IMF hoped and expected at the end of last year, said Dimitrij Demekas, the head of an IMF delegation which paid a three-day informal visit to Slovenia.
