Slovenia to Fight for Five Percent of Undistributed Funds for Rural Development

Brussels, 7 June - The funds intended by the EU for Slovenia's rural development are too low and the country will make efforts to get the largest possible share of the five percent of funds for boosting rural development which have not yet been distributed. "At today's talks at the European Commission we got the hope that this will truly happen," Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But said Friday after meeting head of the European Commission directorates general for enlargement and agriculture, Eneko Lanaburu and Jose Manuel Silva Rodriguez.
