William Perry Recommends Croatia to Sign Border Agreement

Ljubljana, 8 June - "I strongly recommend that Croatia sigh and ratify the agreement, although I no longer have any official authorisation for that," former U.S. Defence Secretary William Perry commented for the Saturday edition of the daily Delo the Slovene-Croatian border agreement, adding that the already initialed accord is excellent. Perry, who used to act as mediator in the dispute over the maritime border in the Piran Bay, also advised Slovenia to be patient and give the Croatian side time to do what needs to be done.
