Slovene Agriculture Minister to Attend World Food Summit in Rome

Ljubljana, 9 June - A Slovene Agriculture Ministry delegation, headed by Minister Franci But, is to attend the four-day World Food Summit that is to be launched in Rome on Monday. The participants of the summit, held under the patronage of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), are expected to focus on the progress made in fighting famine since the last such summit was held in 1996, while also preparing guidelines for the future.
