Slovene Oil Trader Shows Interest in Croatian Oil Company

Zagreb, 10 June - Leading Slovene oil trader Petrol is one of the companies interested in purchasing a 25 percent stake in a major Croatian oil trader Ina after the Croatian government published a call for non-binding bids for 25 percent plus one share of Ina at the beginning of May. A top Petrol official told STA that the company, which has been planning to expand to SE Europe for some time, made a bid together with an American investment bank and an Israeli chemicals consortium.
