Slovene Unicef Generates Surplus in 2001 to Cover 2002 Current Expenses

Ljubljana, 11 June - Slovene Unicef held an AGM on Tuesday, adopting the 2001 business results and a financial plan for 2002. Last year the organisation recorded revenues of SIT 472.1m (EUR 2m), up 16.6% over 2000. Contributions to Unicef rose by 15.1% to SIT 315.7m (EUR 1.3m). The Slovene Unicef recorded a surplus of SIT 6.1m (EUR 27,000) in 2001, all of which will go for current expenses of operations in the first months of 2002, decided the meeting.
