Denmark Assures Slovene FM about the End of Accession Negotiations by End of 2002

Copenhagen, 12 June - Slovene FM Dimitrij Rupel was assured by his Danish counterpart Per Stig Moeller during his visit to Copenhagen on Wednesday that EU enlargement would be a priority of Denmark's presidency in the second half of the year, said the FM's office in a press release. Denmark's focus will be to finish the negotiations with the ready candidates by the end of the year, while Rupel was also promised that Denmark would support differentiation among the EU applicant countries.
