Slovene and German Agriculture Ministers Discuss EU Subsidies in Rome

Rome, 12 June - Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But met with German Minister for Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture Renate Kuenast on the sidelines of the final day of the World Food Summit in Rome on Wednesday. The pair discussed Germany's objections against the European Commission proposal that farmers in new EU member states would get 25% of EU farmers direct payments already in the first year of membership.
