Slovene National Council Delegation Wraps Up Two-Day Visit to Yugoslavia

Belgrade, 12 June - A delegation of the Slovene National Council, the upper house of Slovenia's parliament, met with leading Yugoslav officials, including President Vojislav Kostunica, in Belgrade on Wednesday. According to the President of the National Council, who headed the visiting delegation, the main aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the formation of the constitutional charter of the new union of Serbia and Montenegro, while also trying to find ways to strengthen bilateral co-operation between Slovenia and Yugoslavia on the parliamentary level.
