Gov't Institute: Productivity Will Grow Faster than Wages

Ljubljana, 13 June - The growth of wages should be surpassed by productivity growth in Slovenia this year, the latest forecasts of the government Institute for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development (IMAD) reveal. According to IMAD forecasts, the real growth in Slovene wages should stand at 2.5 percent, while productivity is to rise by 2.8 percent in 2002.
