Bulgaria and Slovenia Want to Become Members of EU and NATO Soon

Brdo pri Kranju, 13 June - Slovenia and Bulgaria have the same priorities, as both are interested in becoming members of the EU and NATO as soon as possible, Slovene and Bulgarian prime ministers, Janez Drnovsek and Simeon Saxe Coburg Gotha, told the press Thursday, upon the conclusion of the Bulgarian prime minister's one-day working visit to Slovenia. The Bulgarian guest, moreover, expressed the conviction that his country would not be left out from the group of NATO candidates that are most likely to receive an invitation for membership at the Alliance's summit in Prague in November, but refused to talk about Bulgaria's target date for EU membership.
