Coalition SLS to Back Presidential Candidacy of Former Central Bank Governor

Ljubljana, 14 June - The Slovene People's Party (SLS) has decided not to go to the autumn presidential elections with its own candidate. Instead, it will support the candidacy of former central bank governor France Arhar, the party's executive board decided late on Thursday, according to the daily Delo. Arhar announced last week that he would not seek the support of any particular party, but back his candidacy with 5,000 voters' signatures.
