Pope Thanks President Kucan For Birthday Wishes

Ljubljana, 14 June - Pope John Paul II has sent a cable of gratitude to Slovene President Milan Kucan for the good wishes the president conveyed on his birthday. In his cable, the Pope added that he wishes the Slovene nation, which he holds close to his heart, also because of the solid Christian roots, further humanly development and contributions to the construction of a free and united Europe, the office of the Slovene president said.
