Law Experts: European Package of Constitutional Changes are Necessary and Well Thought Out

Ljubljana, 17 June - Slovenia has entered the last phase of preparations for membership of the European Union, a process which also calls for suitable changes to the Constitution which facilitate the transfer of certain powers to the supra-national organisation. These constitutional changes, their content and the consequences they will have, were the focus of a public debate held by the parliament commission for the constitution on Monday. Officials involved in the processing of drafting these changes assured that the changes are called for and have been well thought out.
