Kucan Kicks Off Visit to Ireland; New Slovene Ambassador Presents Her Credentials

Dublin, 18 June - Slovene President Milan Kucan is on Tuesday continuing his two-day visit to Ireland, where he is to attend a session of the Irish National Forum on Europe at the invitation of the Irish government and the chairman of the forum, Senator Maurice Hayes. He is moreover due to meet with Irish President Mary McAleese and Prime Minister Bertie Ahern. Kucan is accompanied by newly-appointed Slovene Ambassador to Ireland Helena Drnovsek Zorko, who presented her credentials to the Irish president on Monday.
