Constitutional Court to Look into Slovene-Croatian N-Plant Accord

Ljubljana, 18 June - The municipality of Krsko asked the Constitutional Court on Tuesday to see whether the Slovene-Croatian agreement on the jointly-owned Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK) is in line with the Slovene Constitution. "The move will stall the ratification of the document in the Slovene parliament, which is on the agenda of the parliamentary session starting on Tuesday afternoon," Mayor of Krsko Franci Bogovic told the press.
