Slovene Unemployment at 11.6 Percent in April

Ljubljana, 18 June - Slovenia's labour force amounted to 886,953 persons in April, of which 784,268 were in paid employment, up 0.2 percent over March and one percent over April 2001, according to the National Statistical Office. The registered unemployment rate thus stood at 11.6 percent, down 0.1 percentage points over March.
