Slovenia Well on the Way Towards Membership of European Patent Office

Ljubljana, 18 June - Slovenia is expected to ratify the European Patent Convention before the end of this year, thus becoming a full-fledged member of the European Patent Office, with which Slovenia has been cooperating since 1993, the head of the Slovene government office for intellectual property Erik Vrenko told Tuesday's press conference. The accession of Slovenia to this organisation is the result of long-time work, which has seen positive results in this field, the President of this organisation Ingo Kober, who has been paying a visit to Slovenia this week, stressed.
