EU and Slovenia Sign This Year's First ISPA Financial Memorandum
Velenje, 18 June - Slovenia's Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere on Tuesday signed the first ISPA financial memorandum this year, giving the municipalities of Velenje and Sostanj, northern Slovenia, one billion tolars (EUR 4.4m) for the construction of a waste water treatment plant and water supply system. The entire project is valued at SIT 2.5bn (EUR 11.1m).
