Major Electricity Consumers Would Like to See a Competitive Liberalised Electricity Market

Ljubljana, 19 June - Major Slovene electricity consumers gathered at a debate on Wednesday to check the situation and the harmonisation of regulations ahead of the liberalisation of the Slovene energy market, scheduled for 2003. Details about the functioning of the market need to be known by the end of September for the major electricity consumers to be able to close deals on where they will purchase electricity.
