Rupel Greets Chairmanship of Minority Protection Body by Ethnic Slovene in Italy

Ljubljana, 20 June - Slovene FM Dimitrij Rupel congratulated Slovene minority representative Rado Race for his appointment for the chairman of the Slovene-Italian parity board, a committee supervising the implementation of the Slovene minority protection act in Italy. The FM sent a note saying he was pleased with Race's appointment at Wednesday's maiden session of the committee and the fact that the parity board was finally set up.
