New Slovenia to Hold Its First Conference

Žalec, 21 June - Delegates of the first conference of New Slovenia (NSi) are expected to discuss this year's local elections and the future of Slovenia in the EU as they meet in the town of Zalec, central Slovenia, on Saturday. NSi leader and MP Andrej Bajuk is expected to talk about the plans for the elections, while head of the NSi council, MP Lojze Peterle and a member of the council Lojze Gosar are to discuss the future of the EU. Ahead of the conference, the party's council will meet behind closed door.
