LJUBLJANA - To mark Slovenia's National Day, celebrated on 25 June, Archbishop of Ljubljana and Slovenia's Metropolitan Franc Rode is to celebrate a mass at Ljubljana's Cathedral in the afternoon.

LJUBLJANA - The winner of this year's Kresnik, an award for best Slovene novel to be conferred by the daily Delo for the 12 consecutive year, is to be publically announced in the evening at Roznik, a hill above Ljubljana. Five books have been short listed for this 5,000-euro award.
