Slovenia Could Be a Mediator for SE Europe, Says Slovene Court Official

New York, 23 June - Chair of the Ljubljana District Court Ales Zalar has represented Slovenia at a New York meeting of the work group of the UN Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) for arbitration and conciliation. According to him, Slovenia's co-operation at the meeting was important, because Slovenia needs an alternative dispute resolution system, which could enable it to reduce court backlogs and provide for economic and political benefits in the EU and especially in SE Europe.
