Croatian Fishermen to Protest in Piran Bay on Slovene and Croatian National Day

Umag, 23 June - Croatian fishermen have announced a protest on 25 June, Slovenia's and Croatia's National Day, in the disputed Piran Bay. The Istrian fishermen are unhappy with the way fisheries are handled by the Slovene-Croatian agreement on border traffic and co-operation and with Croatian politicians who have failed to resolve the sea border with Slovenia in the ten years since the two countries gained independence.
