Slovene Retail Sales Down 0.5 Percent in April

Ljubljana, 24 June - Income in the retail sector, the sale and servicing of motor vehicles, as well as the sale of gas fuel in Slovenia dropped by 0.5 percent in April over March. A year-to-year comparison sees a 8.4 percent increase in retail sales in April, while the first four months of this year have witnessed a 7.3 percent increase over the same period last year, figures from the National Statistical Office show.
