Exchange Offices Turn Over 272 Million Euros

Ljubljana, 24 June - Slovene exchange offices turned over EUR 271.9m in May. Foreign currency sold amounted to EUR 141.7m and exceeded by EUR 11.5m the amount of foreign currency purchased. Turnover dropped by almost 14 percent over May 2001, according to the latest issue of the Bulletin of the Bank of Slovenia.
