Russia and Slovenia Mark Ten Years of Diplomatic Relations

Ljubljana, 24 June - The declaration on friendly relations between Russia and Slovenia, which Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek is to sign during his visit to Russia on 17 July, will be an important milestone in the ten-year history of diplomatic relations between the two countries, said Monday Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel at a round table marking ten years since the two countries established diplomatic relations. His view was echoed by Russian Ambassador to Slovenia Tigran Karahanov, who is about to finish his term in Slovenia.
