EU and Candidates to Meet Friday for Additional Round of Talks on Agriculture

Brussels, 25 June - The EU will meet for an additional round of accession negotiations with candidate countries on Friday, starting substantive talks on agriculture with most of them, the EU's ministerial council said on Tuesday. The Slovene delegation at this fresh round of negotiations - which will be the fourth and certainly the last during Spain's stint at the top of the 15-nation bloc - will be led by Slovenia's main negotiator Janez Potocnik, who is also Europe minister.
