AIS Urges G-8 Leaders to Stop Arms Transfers to Human Rights Violators

Ljubljana, 26 June - The G-8 group is acting irresponsibly, Amnesty International Slovenia (AIS) said in a latter addressed to Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien, the host of the G-8 summit which started Wednesday, as it "instigates violent conflicts by transfering weapons, undermines sustainable development and contributes to countless human rights violations across the world."
