Gov't Adopts Bill on GMO Treatment

Ljubljana, 26 June - The Slovene government adopted the bill on the treatment of genetically modified organisms, which is now ready for the third reading in the parliament, at Wednesday's correspondence session. The bill on GMOs regulates treatment of the GMOs in a closed system, their intentional release into the environment and the offering of such products on the market, as well as import and export of the GMOs.
