Crime in Slovenia Becoming More Sophisticated, Says State Prosecutor General

Ljubljana, 26 June - State Prosecutor General Zdenka Cerar presented a report on last year's activities of the state prosecution at a press conference on Wednesday, saying that Slovene state prosecutors solved criminal cases in a "reasonable period of time", despite an increase in reported perpetrators of criminal acts. When commenting on the case of the beaten Slovene journalist Miro Petek, she said that the only way the case is likely to move forward is if Petek allows himself to be "interrogated under hypnosis".
