EU Ambassador Calls on Slovene Banks to Do More for Small Companies

Ljubljana, 27 June - Slovene banks could do much more to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to get favourable loans, head of the European Commission delegation to Slovenia Erwan Fouere said Thursday in his address to a conference discussing the role of small and medium companies in EU enlargement. According to him, financial encouragement would increase competitive ability of Slovene enterprises and enable them to develop thoroughly considered business plans to operate in a broader market.
