No Chance to Implement NEK Accord before July Deadline

Ljubljana/Zagreb, 27 June - The Slovene-Croatian agreement on the Nuclear Power Plant Krsko (NEK) will not be implemented before the 1 July deadline. While Croatian lawmakers voted to put the ratification of the accord on the parliament's agenda, Slovenia's parliament remains unable to discuss it after the Constitutional Court decided Thursday to postpone taking a decision on the matter.
