NLB Supervisors Receive No Bonus as Shareholders Divide Dividends

Ljubljana, 28 June - Shareholders of Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB), Slovenia's largest bank, on Friday convened for the annual general meeting and divided the bulk of last year's balance sheet profits, totalling SIT 3.316bn (EUR 14.65m), for dividends. SIT 3.292bn (EUR 14.55m) have been earmarked for dividends, which will thus total a gross SIT 428 (EUR 1.9) per share, up 63 percent over last year. According to supervisory board chairman Igor Kusar, this figure alone speaks for the bank's success in 2001.
