Slovene President Receives Presidents of Russian and French Upper Chambers

Ljubljana, 28 June - Slovene President Milan Kucan received the president of the upper chamber of Russia's parliament Sergei Mironov and president of the French Senate Christian Poncelet separately on Friday. With Mironov, Kucan exchanged views on Slovene-Russian relations and the recent Rome agreement between NATO and Russia. Poncelet and Kucan, on the other hand, discussed EU enlargement and bilateral relations, said Kucan's office.
