Delo Poll: Drnovsek Would Win Presidential Race; Finance Minister His Successor

Ljubljana, 29 June - If elections were this Sunday, the incumbent Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek would be elected as president, beating former central bank governor France Arhar by three percent, showed a public poll published in Saturday's daily Delo. The majority of those polled believed that Finance Minister Anton Rop would be the most suitable for the next prime minister, while LDS presidency should be taken on by FM Dimitrij Rupel.
