Red Cross Reaffirms the Sacking of Former Secretary General
Ljubljana, 2 July - The Slovene Red Cross' central board unanimously decided on Tuesday to overrule the appeal of former Secretary General Mirko Jelenic on being fired by the organisation, after a scandal broke out in the winter about his alleged financial wrongdoings in Red Cross' transactions.
