Slovenia Celebrates All Saints Day

Ljubljana, 1 November - Slovenians join Christians around the world on 1 November to celebrate All Saints Day. Although is was instituted primarily to honour all the saints, known and unknown, this is the day when people remember deceased family members and friends by visiting their graves any laying wreaths and flowers. In Slovenia, All Saints Day - usually referred to as the day of the dead - is a bank holiday.
