Pharma Stock still Carries Benchmark Index

Ljubljana, 2 November - The trends on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) were influenced by the news that Swiss bidder Novartis succeeded in acquiring enough shares of Slovenian pharma stock Lek before its bid ran out, so the main benchmark SBI 20 index turned up after two downward days. Nevertheless, it finished the week, shortened by bank holidays, down almost one percent, at 3,429.93 points.
