Trade Unions Want to Participate in Preparations for EU Membership

Ljubljana, 4 November - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS) presented their views on Slovenia's EU accession on Monday. In order to boost Slovenia's economic and social position, ZSSS wants a high level of social-economic rights comparable to those in the EU. ZSSS president Dusan Semolic stressed that the role of trade unions in EU accession is very important, especially to guarantee a good-quality social dialogue.
