Italian Senate Officials Kick Off Visit to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 4 November - Efforts to boost co-operation between the Italian and Slovenian parliaments in the frame of EU and NATO expansion headed Monday's talks as a delegation of the Italian Senate foreign affairs committee kicked off a two-day visit to Slovenia by meeting with the Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament Borut Pahor. Italian officials, headed by chairman of the committee Fiorella Provere, also met with Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Europe Minister Janez Potocnik.
